Brugge Panorama
Off-the-shelf geospatial software does than just mapping. Below is a panorama of the medieval city of Brugge taken from the top of the 15th century belfry, nearly 90 metres above the city. Use the controls to zoom in and out, or shift-drag the mouse to zoom in on an area of interest. The images are being delivered using an Open Source WMS server, MapServer, whilst the client side navigation is implemented using the OpenLayers javascript library.
