Mapping Oxford Archaeology

The red diamonds show the location of work carried out by Oxford Archaeology. Their site locations are shared using the industry standard Web Feature Service (WFS) protocol. My PHP application makes requests to their WFS server telling it to the bounds of the current map display, then clusters the returning information to minimize the number of points displayed on the map. A diamond containing a '+1' represents 2 or more points so close together that they cannot be disambiguated at the current zoom level - click on it and it'll zoom further in.
